4 day work week for Danish design brand

Do you want to take the next step in your career with an international Danish design brand enjoying a 4 day work week?

UMAGE is looking for a dynamic & talented European Sales Manager to expand our business in Europe.  You will be our representative in Europe motivating local agents & distributors and generating growth, based out of our Copenhagen office located in the centre of Copenhagen. You will report to our Sales Director, Retail and must expect around 60 travelling days a year.

 

Responsibilities:

- Increase sales to existing customers and expand network to new markets within Europe

- Develop & implement an annual business plan in order to achieve sales targets

- Actively hunt for new opportunities and evaluate them according to the UMAGE brand-value

- Analyse new market segments

- Increase the portfolio and introduce new products

- Participation in fairs and follow up on new leads

- Coaching of agents and distributors

 

Professional qualifications:

We are looking to hire a competent and structured European Sales Manager, who works independently and has excellent cooperation and communication skills. Experience within export sales, preferably with agents and distributors in the retail market, is a requirement, and we would love for you to have some experience with the sales of Danish design and the contract market, but this is not a requirement.

To be successful in the job, we require a minimum of 3 years of experience from a similar position as well as English skills on a negotiation level both spoken and written.  We prefer candidates who have a good understanding of foreign cultures and are constructive and solution-oriented. Your KPI’s will be annual growth & financial targets in your sales area as well as your degree of interaction with customers and partners, including customer satisfaction.
